Time in a bottle: January 2016 favorites

                                                                      Makeup inspirations:

Elizabeth Taylor while filming The V.I.P.s. A coral lip in the middle of winter still works. Her coat is by Givenchy, but rumored to be an uncredited Pierre Cardin.

Chelsey Weimar is like a cross between Kelly Le Brock and Christy Turlington.
I liked recreating the thick upper liner and a nude lip. Use Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Eyeliner in Caviar and Rimmel Nude lipstick in 42 Apricot Nude or 45 Rose Nude.
Recreate Claudia's look with the same gel eyeliner used above and Le Metier de Beaute lipstick in Butterfield 8.

                                                                       Perfume:

                                                           Bruno Fazzolori Room 237

I suppose this would have been a better choice for Halloween, but I discovered it late. It's one to wear in the cold snow and maybe when strolling through a hedge maze. Don't turn your back on the topiary.

Imaginary Authors- A City On Fire

Everything in it smells like it's burning to the ground.

                                                                            Hair care:
L'Oreal Extraordinary Oil Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner
Yoshimomo Ghost Oil, but there is also Verb Ghost Oil just for your hair.

Skin care:
Yes to Coconuts Ultra Hydrating Melting Cleanser
Bobbi Brown Extra Facial Oil
2 drops of Aura Cacia Lavender Essential Oil

Massage:
Yoga eyebrow massage by Heather Lilleston.
This has gotten me through the holidays and helped any headache. I like to use lavender essential oil
or the Earth Therapeutics Pulse Point Cream. Just use a basic face oil if you're sensitive.

Body:

Molton Brown Tobacco Absolute bath and shower gel
Molton Brown Ylang Ylang bath and shower gel
Elemental Herbology Detox Botanical Bathing Infusion

Foundation:

Chanel Les Beiges Teint Belle Mine Naturelle Healthy Glow Foundation

  Concealer:
Sisley Phyto Cernes Eclat 1 & 2
Make Up For Ever Lift Concealer

 Blusher:
Bobbi Brown Tawny

 Highlighter:
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Pearl

It's so hard to capture this on camera. It's described as a linen white with a hint of luminosity.
Becca caters to medium to tan skin since it is an AU brand, and I wish this were as good as Opal. Just because you're fair skinned does not mean you want a blander shade of Pearl, am I right?

  Eyeshadow:
L'Oreal Colour Riche Mono in Pain Au Chocolat

 Eyeliner:
Eyeshadows like Bobbi Brown Rich Navy
Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Eyeliner in Caviar

Mascara:
Max Factor 2000 Calorie
L'Oreal  Voluminous Butterfly

Lipstick

Chanel Rouge Allure in Coromandel
Le Metier de Beaute in Butterfield 8
Rimmel Nude Collection by Kate in Nude Rose #45

Lip balm:
Milani Moisture Lock Raspberry Oil Lip Treatment
Carmex Winter Mint limited edition (Like mint on Antarctica, this is intense)

 Nail Colour:

Essie Starry Starry Night - A 1985 cult favorite.

Tech:

I've never been into changing phone cases, but this was hard to pass up.

The French Shelf phone case by Marine De Quenetain can be found here.
