Perfumes:
Commodity Goods Gold has notes of Nubian musk, ambroxan, and molten amber. Ambroxan is an interesting note that is in perfumes like Portrait of a Lady by Frederic Malle, Not A Perfume by Juliette Has A Gun, Molecule 02 by Essential Molecules, and Le Labo Santal 33 perfume oil. People often describe it as the smell musk on your clean skin in the base notes, which is probably why so many enjoy it. This becomes a skin scent by the end of the day.
I will buy almost anything with the name Whiskey. This contains notes of mahogany oak, ivy, dark musk, sage, and cinnamon. It's unisex without being cloying or too intense for women. I like that it's complex and smooth. It's something my husband would wear because there aren't any floral or gourmand notes to mess it up. What you smell is what you get. I will try to sneak it into his cabinet...
You can find the 100 ml and travel sprays @ Sephora or Commodity Goods.
Nest White Sandalwood has notes of Indian sandalwood, creamy almond, white musk, and spices.
I have a habit of buying one winter fragrance at the beginning of spring, and then it's put on hold until next fall. This year it's Nest White Sandalwood. This is a creamy yet clean sandalwood (because sandalwood can get very dirty in a primal way) with nutty almond, spices, and sometimes even phantom coconut milk. I constantly smelled my wrist when testing it. You can find Nest at Sephora or here.
