My favorite fragrances for summer 2020

Paco Rabanne Olympea Intense is a salty amber vanilla. Think of warm suntan oiled skin on hot sand by the sea. This is not a true intense version of the original. They're very different. I still wear the original Olympea, but it's more floral salty caramel.

Montale Intense Tiare is the most exotic tiare I have smelled in a long time. Beautiful tiare, ylang ylang, coconut, and a touch of vanilla. It's the most intoxicating on my list and the longest lasting at 10 plus hours.

Most people probably wouldn't associate Coqui Coqui Tabaco with summer, but for me it's a nice refreshing form of tabacco you'd smell in South America. I love wearing this on warm nights.

Mancera Holidays is a vacation in a bottle, and Mancera delivers with the fragrance oils. You can actually see the oil on your skin after spraying it! This is a semi sweet coconut with tiare flower, ylang ylang, sea notes, and it finishes with soft sandalwood musk and vanilla. Mancera Coco Vanille is another good one for a beachy scent.

Hermes Un Jardin Sur Le Nil is a fresh garden scent that represents a garden on the Nile river. It was created by Jean Claude Ellena and features notes of green mango, lotus, and sycamore wood. There's some interesting vegetable green notes in there too. Un Jardin Sur Le Toit is another favorite with apple. It's a garden on the roof scent that smells like an apple fruit orchard. You can smell the blossoms, fruits, green grass, and blooms in the breeze.

An honorable mention is Guerlain Terracotta Le Parfum. This one can be harder to find online and in stores, but it's the classic terracotta smell you get from the bronzers. Sorry I don't have any reliable link for it at the moment.

Tom Ford Soleil Blanc and Eau de Soleil Blanc have become summer staples for many people. They're what's called a solar floral amber that mimics the smell of a unisex sunscreen. Delightful. Estee Lauder's original Bronze Goddess Eau Fraiche Skinscent was a Tom Ford creation, and it's more affordable. Some people prefer the discontinued (but still easily found online) Tom Ford Orchid Soleil--which was intended as a more affordable summer scent from his line. Described as summer sunshine in a bottle. I loved the advertisement for that one with Daphne Groeneveld. Beautiful classic Tom Ford with more unique notes of cypress and red spider lily with a bold tuberose. The bottle was stunning as well.

I hope this was helpful in finding a new summer perfume!  I often find better deals at Fragrance Net or Fragrance X. Some links were used simply because they're more reliable and in stock.
