Time in a bottle: August 2015 favorites

Oscara de la Renta's fall 2010 show. It featured all Revlon makeup in cocoa tones and was created by Gucci Westman. The lipstick is Revlon Chocolicious sheered out. 





                                                                       

Cara Delevinge's fiery amber eyeshadow. Try MAC Red Brick and Orange pro pan shadows.

Skin care:
I took a break from trying new products and let my skin rest this month. 
Burt's Bees Grapefruit Cleansing Towelettes to remove most makeup. 
Then simple cleanser and moisturizer from Cetaphil.

No one talks about these Revlon shades, and they're fantastic!
I mix them to create the shade I want, but Terra Copper is a fall nude on it's own.

Time in a bottle: July 2014 favorites

Makeup inspirations:




Hair care:
Pantene 2 in 1 or Co-wash 3 in 1 (I'm experimenting with these)



Face Wash: 
Roc Daily Resurfacing Pads (remove makeup and cleanse)
Biologique Recherche Lait VIP O2, and P50 lotion (toner)


Perfume: 
Serge Lutens Datura Noir, Frederic Malle Carnal Flower

Formula 10.0.6 Ultra Cleansing mud mask in Orange+ Bergamot
Formula 10.0.6 Seriously Shine Free Mattifying oil free moisturizer (I use this as a primer for foundation and it works)

NEW Josie Maran Coconut Watercolor shadow in Rose Gold

NEW NARS Dual Intensity shadows in Dione, Phoebe, and Callisto. 
These metallics are gorgeous dry or wet, but applying them wet with a flat synthetic brush amps it up. All of these shadows are named after moons, stars, and galaxies.

Quick science lesson: NARS Dione is named after Saturn's little moon and is pronounced Die-OH-nee. 







Brows: Any clear brow gel. I wasn't fussy with brows this month. 
It's too hot to add another thing into my routine. 

Eyeliners:
Any black kohl eyeliner for smudging. Really sooty lash lines. 


Mascara:
Max Factor 2000 Calorie in the blackest black
